A Voice in the Book
At the mountain temple, Weslyn and Slate spoke with Caelus about a quest whose purpose they did not yet fully understand. Their attention turned to the unknown book in Slate’s possession.
Slate tried to identify it and was drawn into contact with a dark voice. When Weslyn intervened, he too became caught in its influence. The voice pleaded for freedom, whispered the name Elias, and begged to be brought to the Arcanum to meet Eos. Weslyn pulled Slate away, breaking the connection.
Back at the Arcanum
Lysa had returned. Dash and Eos prepared a room for her, and Dash worked with leather. Hatsu checked on Boreal before speaking with Remington about forming a hall monitor force. He also raised his concerns about Dr. Harrow.
Amaedrianna spoke with the history teacher, Odium Memorus, about Raze Threats. Their conversation included the Astral Devourer and the death of the legendary Thorngrim.
Eos, Dash, and Amaedrianna then set about converting Weslyn’s room for Lysa’s use.
