The Wandering Isles: Session 14
The Mountain
Weslyn and Slate climbed into a fierce storm. A sky serpent moved through the clouds, driving them to hurry. When Weslyn fell and was left hanging over the drop, Slate caught him, risking his own footing to pull him to safety.
At the summit, the storm and serpent were gone. The two found a quiet temple that appeared to be more than thirteen hundred years old.
Searching the Tunnels
At the Arcanum, Dash told Hatsu and Amaedrianna that Lysa might return. He also suggested that the vault they had been trying to reach could itself be part of a test.
Amaedrianna explained the hidden tunnels Lysa had used and how those routes could have allowed the assassins into the school. Dash and Eos searched for answers without success, then joined Hatsu, Amaedrianna and Ayame in the passages. Amaedrianna guided them through, but they still could not find the vault.
At the Temple Door
Dash spoke with Eos about his father’s past and his own need to grow beyond the mistakes he associated with it.
On the mountain, Weslyn and Slate approached the temple entrance. A being called Caelus greeted them.
