The Wandering Isles: Session 6
Dreams and Friendship
Under the trees on the Arcanum grounds, Weslyn shared a meal with Zephyr, a Zephyrian also described as a Djinn. They discussed dreams, reality, and Weslyn’s connection with magic.
Dash told Eos that he wanted her friendship and asked her not to judge him. Hatsu spent time with Chicken and fed him a Power Ball.
Amaedrianna and Eos spoke about living among people who feared magic when their own appearances made that difference visible. Eos offered a more hopeful view of accepting who they were. In a private conversation, Hatsu considered his ambitions and the choices ahead of him.
The Telestones
Remington gave the group Telestones so they could communicate over long distances. The devices were useful, but not everyone trusted them.
Eos buried her Telestone and Weslyn’s. Hatsu hid his in a tree. Their precautions reflected a concern that the means of staying in touch might also allow someone else to listen.
Beneath the Arcanum
Lysa called a meeting to discuss entering a vault beneath the school. Amaedrianna followed her into the tunnels without announcing herself.
The passages helped explain how Lysa had learned so much about the Arcanum. Amaedrianna’s decision to follow her left the group on the edge of a much more dangerous discovery.
