A Ship on the Horizon
A strange ship appeared off the island. Amaedrianna went to the library to look for information about her past, but found only second-hand accounts and rumours. The people and history of Vurduar were absent from the material available to her.
Eos enrolled in fencing and faced Amaedrianna in her first test. Despite her lack of experience, she held her own. Hatsu spoke with Boreal about keeping his composure in their new surroundings.
At breakfast, Slate hesitantly accepted a ration from Amaedrianna. It was the first food he had eaten on the island that had not come from the academy.
Simul Decker Arrives
Weslyn watched Simul Decker disembark from the ship with Ironclad and a security team. Simul signed autographs for the group. Amaedrianna took one and slipped it into Dash’s possessions without his noticing.
Weslyn approached the vessel himself. Its warmth led him to wonder whether it might be alive.
The Wrong Fox
Back in his dormitory, Dash chased what appeared to be Chicken carrying his stolen invitation. The pursuit led through the halls, but Dash realised that the fox was an impostor.
When the chase reached the forest, Weslyn begged the others to stop. They agreed. He gave the real Chicken a bag of sand and sent him into the trees.
An Unconscious Introduction
Dash returned to report the theft and was knocked unconscious. While the others discussed what had happened, Weslyn noticed that Amaedrianna spoke a language he knew.
Their conversation stopped when a shadowy figure entered carrying Dash. The group was initially alarmed, but Dash recognised her when he came round and introduced her. They now had to decide what to do about her presence on the island.
