The Wandering Isles: Session 18
After Harrow
Hatsu and Ayame considered what Dr. Harrow’s removal meant for the creature she had controlled. Without her, it might be roaming freely. Eos and Weslyn spent time beneath the stars, while Hatsu and Amaedrianna spoke privately about their pasts. In a gesture of trust, Amaedrianna showed him her face, something few people had seen.
Following the Tracks
The group split up to follow footprints. Hatsu went with Ayame, Dash with Lysa, and Amaedrianna with Slate. Eos continued to fear losing Weslyn.
Marcus Thorne, a new guard able to produce duplicates of himself, approached the creature and was attacked from behind. Dash then used deception to keep the encounter from becoming another fight.
Gorebound
The creature called himself Gorebound. His account connected him to Adrian Voss of Penzance, imprisonment, and Harrow’s work. He had been bound to her and driven by a need to find his master, but spoke with enough awareness for the party to consider helping him.
They decided to escort him to Penzance. By the end of the session, the first members of the group had reached the town.
