Two Months Later
Two months passed at the Arcanum. Eos helped Weslyn study reincarnation, watching with interest as his tattoos began to merge with the books he read.
Dr. Harrow Arrives
Dr. Harrow’s arrival frightened Slate. He told Amaedrianna about his fear, and she went to investigate the doctor’s work.
Amaedrianna found signs of dangerous experimentation. When Harrow caught her looking around, she talked her way out of the encounter, but left with concerns about what the doctor intended to do at the school.
A Laboratory in the School
Amaedrianna brought those concerns to Remington. They disagreed about how Harrow’s activities should be handled.
She then returned to Slate and told him what she had found: Harrow appeared to be establishing a laboratory within the Arcanum.
