Flying Orc was founded in 2014, on the heels of a podcast project that began in 2012. To know Flying Orc, you need to know KJBcast.

KJBcast was a podcast and a pet project between a group of friends, who were trying to discuss gaming information and news. It was mostly just that group sassing each other in podcast format, and as short-lived as it was it built quite a fanbase.

From the ashes of KJBcast grew Flying Orc. We originally focused on gaming journalism and media. We attended events, published gaming news and content for years. From that, we broke into game tutorials, and the YouTube channel was born.

After a few years of gaming journalism, we found ourselves looking for something new and exciting. A better direction and focus. During the pandemic, we began to play Dungeons & Dragons and that stole our hearts. Here we are today combining all of those passions and loves into one. Creating tutorials, guides, educating and publishing content related to Dungeons & Dragons to help as many people gain the same passion we did.

Flying Orc took quite a long time to find its place in the world, but here we are. Now that we made it here, everything just feels right.
