Orius & Eriyus
It is said that Orius and Eriyus, the divine twins, were born from the union of Minerva and Tempestas]], a perfect reflection of the balance between light and shadow, order and chaos. They are the radiant children of the cosmos, blessed with the power to embody both the seen and unseen, the protector and the deceiver, the force of stability and the bringer of change.
Orius, the god of Abjuration, is often described in the most luminous of terms. His light shines with the brilliance of a thousand suns, a shield that wards off the darkest of threats. His aura is said to glow with a multi-coloured radiance, shifting with every breath as if to represent the boundless spectrum of life itself. To behold Orius, it is said, is to feel the warmth of the universe itself, to be wrapped in a blanket of safety and assurance that no evil shall pierce.
Eriyus, the goddess of Illusion, is whispered of in the shadows between dreams. Her form shimmers with a thousand hues, each one more captivating than the last, a tapestry woven from the deepest mysteries of the night. She dances in the twilight, a figure of elegance and grace, ever-changing, ever-elusive. Her presence is a paradox—she is both there and not, as real as the breath you take and as insubstantial as the mist. Those who have seen her speak of a beauty so profound it defies comprehension, and yet, in her eyes, they say you can glimpse the edge of a deep, unfathomable truth.
Though they stand on opposite ends of the spectrum, Orius and Eriyus are bound by a love as ancient as the stars themselves. Together, they represent the very fabric of existence—the push and pull of creation and destruction, truth and deception, certainty and doubt. They are the essence of duality, the heartbeat of the universe, forever entwined in their celestial dance.
It is said that Orius and Eriyus share a bond that nothing in existence could sever. When the forces of darkness rise, Orius stands with his shield, protecting the world with a firm hand. And when deceit and illusion are needed to outwit the wicked, Eriyus takes her place, her laughter ringing like the wind as she spins her webs of shadows and light.
The people of the realms speak of them with awe, for it is known that they appear in dreams and visions to those they find worthy, guiding them with a gentle touch or a whispered word. They are not only gods but guides, weaving themselves into the fabric of mortal lives, shaping destinies, and whispering truths known only to those who dare listen.
Together, Orius and Eriyus are a testament to the beauty of balance, a reminder that light cannot exist without shadow, nor order without a touch of chaos. Their followers, knowing this truth, worship them not as separate deities but as two sides of the same coin, inseparable and eternal.
To honour them is to embrace the fullness of existence, to see both the day and the night, to walk with courage in both certainty and doubt. It is said that the divine twins can achieve anything, overcome any obstacle, for their strength lies not in their differences but in their unity. And so, with every sunrise and sunset, their story continues, written in the stars above and the hearts of those who believe.
