The Drone

I love playing with my phone, but I genuinely won't play a game like GTA III on it because I hate not having the feel of a controller. Phones are getting bigger and better games, but I genuinely need more than a touch screen. This project caught my eye for this reason.

Two years ago Evo Controllers started working on the Drone, a wireless controller that can work across multiple devices.  You can use it with your smartphone, tablet, PC, Ouya, Kindle Fire, etc. The Drone is designed to look great and is built with a precision joystick with center click, 10 face buttons, 2 bumpers, and 2 triggers. It's compact enough to fit in your pocket so you can take it with you wherever you go. Now that the iPhone has full controller support, it is the perfect timing to get on board with this.

The controller can come in a variety of colours and isn't obnoxiously big. It's quite portable, and light.  The Drone has a rechargeable lithium ion battery giving you 17+ hours of straight game play. It has a 4 hour charge time and standby time of 7+ days.

They recently launched the product on Kickstarter just a few days ago and have already raised $22,000.  If you're interested, you should head over and have a look. It is just one click away, after all! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
