Rayman: Legends Delayed

Ubisoft has confirmed that it has pushed back the launch of upcoming Nintendo Wii U platformer Rayman Legends to the first quarter of 2013. According to the publisher, the delay will allow the development team more time to work on the game.

"We're happy that fans are excited about the game, and we are taking the time to make sure we deliver a game that lives up to and hopefully exceeds their expectations. We'll have more details to share soon."

Rayman Legends, the sequel to last year's Rayman Origins, was scheduled to release alongside the launch of the Wii U later this year. Rayman Legends takes advantage of the Wii U controller by allowing a form of co-op that mixes traditional platforming with a second screen.
