Nintendo Officially Announces Fire Emblem: Awakening 3DS bundle

One of Nintendo’s most beloved RPGs, Fire Emblem, is coming to the 3DS and we know many of you are planning to pick up your first 3DS as soon as it’s released on February 4, which is why Nintendo is putting together a Fire Emblem Awakening Nintendo 3DS bundle so you won’t have to go too far to pick them both up.

Nintendo sent out a global press release with the details of the Fire Emblem: Awakening 3DS bundle, as well as when it launches and what comes with it. The Fire Emblem Awakening Nintendo 3DS bundle comes with a blue 3DS which is “emblazoned” with Fire Emblem artwork on its cover, includes Fire Emblem Awakening pre-installed and also comes with a 4GB SD memory card with Fire Emblem: Awakening pre-installed.

Nintendo also revealed last week that a "Fire Emblem: Awakening" demo would be available to download from the eShop on Jan. 17 as well as plans for weekly DLC that start when the game releases.

The Fire Emblem: Awakening bundle will retail for $199.99. After the game's launch, additional maps will be available to purchase and download. The first downloadable map will be free for a limited time and will be followed by additional maps on a weekly basis.
