Microsoft had a fantastic Black Friday. The company announced today that it sold more than 750,000 Xbox 360 consoles in the United States during the period (November 18-23). Sales of this level exceeded internal forecasts, the company stated.
Xbox Live Gold subscription sales have increased more than 50% compared the last year's Black Friday week, which is insane. There was more than 14 million people on Xbox Live all over the world on the following Sunday, which played more than 72 million hours in just that one day.
Comparing these statistics to 2011, there has been a 43% increase in the US Entertainment application hours on Xbox Live during the week of Black Friday.
