Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is officially coming to Xbox: One. Konami opened the Microsoft E3 presentation with actual gameplay from the new MGS game, and it looks beautiful.

The game will be open-world and offer a new type of stealth, alongside real-time weather, various modes of transport including tanks, jeeps and horses, and tactical espionage.

The game will feature real time, which I can only assume means that if it's 16:20 on your clock, it's 16:20 in the game, or perhaps minutes just pass the same, but time is pre-determined. It's hard to tell! I don't want to stay up until 4am just to get the jump on some enemies, though.

A female sniper named Quiet was shown, as well as a boy named Eli, and characters named Ocelot (From MGS3?), Emmerich, Code Talker, and Skull Face. Metal Gear Solid V will also include SmartGlass functionality.
