Mass Effect: Andromeda was revealed during EA's press conference at E3 2015 in the form of a trailer. Not much is yet known about the game, other than what you see in the trailer. What is known is that this game will not have anything to do with Commander Shepard, the main character from the previous 3 games.
The game is being developed using DICE's Frostbite 3 engine for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and is set for release in late 2016. BioWare has said that it aims to combine the best parts of any Mass Effect game: exciting new worlds to discover, great characters, and intense action, whilst at the same time, expanding the definition of what players should expect from a Mass Effect game.
