Hitman: Trilogy Announced by Amazon

If Hitman: Absolution has made you curious to go back and take on Agent 47's greatest hits, you're just in luck. A retail listing, along with sets of achievements and trophies, indicate that an HD collection is on its way early next year. Unfortunately it doesn't include Hitman 1, and it includes Hitman: Blood Money which was already in HD on the Xbox and PS3, but it's a small price to pay for the other two Hitman titles!

The Amazon listing for the "Hitman Trilogy HD" features its own convincing box art. The bundle promises remastered versions of Silent Assassin, Contracts. It sets the release date for January 29, 2013, at a price of $39.99 (which is incredible).

The Premium Edition contains an exclusive Art Book (first run version) containing 22 pieces of “never before seen reinterpretations of classic moments from Hitman Contracts, Hitman 2 Silent Assassin, and Hitman Blood Money all done by top artists.

Adding fuel to the fire are achievements and trophies for the 360 and PS3 versions, respectively. These both refer to the game as "Hitman HD Collection," which may be the European name for the game. Hopefully this will turn out to be true and we'll all be Silent Assassin's next month!

When we contacted Square Enix for a comment they simply replied with "We don't comment on rumour and speculation", but if we hear more then we will keep you up to date!
