Microsoft kicked off its E3 game industry conference with new footage from its latest blockbuster game, "Halo 5: Guardians," which is set to come out on Oct. 27 and features a bigger multiplayer than ever before with up to 24 live players and maps four times the size of previous versions.
Peace is shattered when colony worlds are unexpectedly attacked, and when humanity's greatest hero goes missing, Spartan Locke is tasked with hunting the Master Chief and solving a mystery that threatens the entire galaxy. Is Locke a friend, or foe? Is Master Chief an ally, or the enemy?
Microsoft also had a bonus for fans on the E3 floor this year. Much like their mind blowing Minecraft presentation, the new Hololens had another surprise loaded up. Microsoft has created holograms for the UNSC Infinity ship and Commander Palmer which walk through the various enemies you’ll face in the new Warzone mode in Halo 5.
All of the various elements are projected onto a table in a special custom-built Halo stand at Microsoft’s E3 booth. Microsoft are not letting cameras near this setup. You can check out the gallery below to see over 100 pictures from the new game.
