Sony showed a side to Quantic Dream's upcoming game Beyond: Two Souls that gave us more of an idea of what the game will be like, and what the game is about.
It showed Jodie Holmes, played by actress Ellen Page, being recruited into the special forces and learning how to kick some serious ass. Willem Dafoe appears to be a father/father figure that tells Jodie that she has to go join a military service. This is then swiftly followed by a montage of her training.
She's then sent on a difficult mission into a desert area to take out a target - something she's more than comfortable doing which implies a lot of time has gone by and she is now suddenly a bad ass.
The game is described as a singularly unique psychological action thriller delivered by A-list Hollywood performances, BEYOND: Two Souls takes you on a thrilling journey across the globe as you play out the remarkable life of Jodie Holmes.
Born with a connection to a mysterious entity with incredible powers, Jodie was different. In an adventure spanning 15 years of her life, your actions will determine Jodie's fate as she faces extraordinary challenges, danger, and heartwrenching loss on a journey to discover the truth of who she is. BEYOND: Two Souls promises an emotionally-charged journey unlike any video game before.
Beyond: Two Souls will be released on 11th October in the UK. Check out the trailer below to see mind blowing graphics and celebrity look-alikes. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
