Titled 'Overkill', the trailer shows intense firefights and huge explosions causing destruction to the game's environments.
Publisher EA has confirmed an Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel release date of March 26 in the US, with a European launch to follow on March 29.
The trailer also showcases the game's destructible environments and weaponry.
Announced earlier this year, the third game in the co-op franchise takes on a more mature and gritty tone, as the mercenaries Alpha and Bravo take to the streets of Mexico amid a deadly drug war. It is being developed by Visceral Games in Montreal, formerly EA Montreal, which developed the previous Army of Two titles. It will use the Frostbite 2.0 engine, which powered games like Battlefield 3.
Hip-hop artists Big Boi and B.o.B will feature in the game, performing its official theme song and lending their voices to in-game operatives Charles 'Chuy' Rendall (Big Boi) and Anthony 'Baker' Barnes (B.o.B).
They will star in a DLC pack called 'Hit-Makers Kit' that will be available as a pre-order bonus through Amazon in the UK.
The trailer also announced an Overkill Edition of the PS3 and Xbox 360 game for customers who place a pre-order. It'll feature more weapons, gear and early access to bonus content.
