Thechineseroom—current developer of the Amnesia franchise of PC horror games—has confirmed that the next game in the series has been delayed to early 2013. A Machine for Pigs was set to come out this Halloween and scare the living crap out of everyone, but due to some delays and a lust for a better game, it has been delayed. The studio’s creative director Dan Pinchbeck said:
"it’s just slid back to early 2013. The quality of the game is the absolute first, last, and always with this development, and we felt it could do with a few more months’ work to make sure that’s really going to happen.”
Sad news, Amnesia fans! However, it IS still happening, just not quite as soon as we had hoped!
