It has been revealed yesterday that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has a US release date of October 23rd and an EU release date of October 24th.
They recently announced new fighters Nathan Drake (Uncharted) and Big Daddy (Bioshock), and that PlayStation All-Stars will have a PlayStation Vita release when it launches later this year – so you’ll be able to take the battle with you on the go, or experience cross-platform matches against your friends whether you’re playing on PS3 or PS Vita.
They have revealed ten characters already, but you’ll have to wait until their announcements later to see who else will be in the ring. They promise that there will be more before the official release. There will also be a selection of alternate costumes to those who pre-order the game.
Yesterday they announced that Heihachi Mishima (Tekken) would be joining the game and they released the trailer below to celebrate.
They also announced that Toro Inoue (Sony's Mascot in Japan) will also be joining the upcoming All-Stars game and they also released this fancy trailer for his induction!
Finally, they announced their newest stage, Dojo! Fans of the original Parappa the Rapper on the PSX will immediately recognize this kung-fu dwelling, which is where Parappa originally acquired his martial arts arsenal from Chop Chop Master Onion.
So, with all this exciting All-Stars news, we really are pumped to play! We'll keep you up to date on this and more as it comes out!
